Russell Syrotynski is an accomplished and highly ethical Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) with over 15 years of dedicated experience in managing high-quality, resident-centered skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. Originally starting out as EVS he Known for his strategic leadership and commitment , Russell Syrotynski currently serves as the Administrator Cooperstown center , overseeing a complex operation that includes long-term care, sub-acute rehabilitation, and a dedicated memory care unit. Russell Syrotynski Bachelor of Science and major in health service management providing him with a crucial foundation to her administrative role. Russell Syrotynski believes that the true measure of a Skilled nursing facility’s success is the dignity and fulfillment experienced by every resident.

Amanda Morse BA, Psychology

Director of Social Work

Amanda Morse is a dedicated healthcare leader and Director of Social Work at Cooperstown Center; a long-term care community focused on enriching the lives of older adults. With over six years of experience in geriatric social work, she brings deep expertise in addressing the emotional, social, and clinical needs of residents and their families.
In her role, Morse leads psychosocial assessments, care planning, discharge coordination, and staff training—ensuring compassionate, person-centered support for every resident. She champions resident rights, trauma-informed care, and interdisciplinary collaboration, and has spearheaded initiatives to enhance quality of life, reduce hospital readmissions, and empower caregivers through education and outreach.
A graduate of Ashford University with a BA in Psychology, Morse is committed to ethical practice and regulatory excellence in long-term care. Her leadership fosters a culture of dignity, respect, and resilience within Cooperstown Center and the broader aging services community.

Taylor Hovey PTA

Director of Rehabilitation

Taylor brings a strong clinical foundation and a true passion for skilled nursing to her new leadership role. A 2018 graduate of Bryant & Stratton College, she has been working as a PTA ever since. Her career began at Upstate Medical University, followed by a travel assignment at Essex Centers right before COVID—an experience that cemented her love for the SNF world. Since then, she has served in multiple Centers across the Syracuse and Utica regions, including Bishop and Oneida, gaining a deep understanding of our residents, staff, and community needs.

Originally from central New York, Taylor grew up in Holland Patent before settling in Syracuse, where she launched her education, career, and now her family.
Speaking of family—Taylor is a proud mom to two tiny adventurers: a 20-month-old boy and a 6-month-old girl. When they’re not keeping her busy, you’ll find her camping, hiking, and seeking out their next great adventure together.
